The Broward Business Council on Homelessness is a coalition of local business leaders united by a shared commitment to creating solutions that address homelessness in our community. Through collaboration, advocacy, and resource mobilization, the Council works to ensure Broward County invests wisely in strategies that help our neighbors experiencing homelessness find stability and reintegration into society.
Our role is not to replace the work of our dedicated community partners, but to stand alongside them—amplifying their efforts, advocating for needed policy and system changes, and using the influence of the business community to drive meaningful progress. The Council firmly believes that ending homelessness requires the entire community working together, and we are committed to being part of the solution in a positive, collaborative way.
United Way of Broward County, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, and the Broward Workshop work in close collaboration to support the Broward Business Council on Homelessness (BBCH).
Each organization brings unique strengths to the table: United Way offers deep expertise in social services and community engagement; the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance mobilizes the business community to drive economic solutions; and the Broward Workshop provides strategic leadership and advocacy through its network of influential civic and business leaders.
Together, they form a united front, aligning resources and vision to advance BBCH’s mission of ending homelessness in Broward County through innovation, partnership, and measurable impact.
